Shareholder Disputes – breakfast seminar on 13 July 2017

19th June 2017

Shareholder disputes take many forms, but the unfair prejudice petition under s994 Companies Act 2006 is the most flexible and widely used way for a minority shareholder to enforce his or her rights.

In this seminar Rachel Sleeman, Roger Laville and Alex Kingston-Splatt will consider the extent of the statutory jurisdiction, the circumstances in which it may arise and the available remedies, especially against misfeasant directors. They will cover, by reference to a case study, some of the procedural and tactical issues which the parties are likely to encounter while the petition is afoot and will also explore the availability of interim injunctions in unfair prejudice petitions.
