We are delighted to announce that Sahana Jayakumar has been awarded a scholarship by the Pegasus Trust to travel to Dubai in Autumn 2018. The Trust, administered by Inner Temple, awards around twelve scholarships per year to barristers within their first five years of practice.
From September, Sahana will spend three months working in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC). Her placement will be split between marshalling in the DIFC Courts and working in the litigation department of a major middle-eastern commercial law firm in Dubai. Sahana hopes to use the scholarship as an opportunity to build on her existing practice whilst also gaining invaluable experience of international commercial work.
