Profile
Oliver joined Five Paper as a tenant in October 2025 following the successful completion of his pupillage. He has a broad practice covering all of Chambers’ practice areas and is regularly instructed in relation to social housing, landlord and tenant, insolvency and commercial matters.
Prior to joining Chambers, Oliver was a Legal Assistant at the Law Commission of England and Wales. He contributed to the drafting of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 with his work encompassing leasehold enfranchisement and Right to Manage claims. Alongside this role, Oliver completed the Bar Course, acted pro bono with FRU, and volunteered with Advocate.
Oliver is known for his careful preparation, attention to detail, and ability to present complex legal issues clearly and effectively. He has appeared in the County Court, High Court and the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).

Oliver accepts instructions across a range of commercial and insolvency matters and is building his practice in line with Chambers’ Commercial Division.
His adversarial and advisory experience includes:

- Applications to set aside statutory demands

- Office-holder claims
- Shareholder disputes
- General contractual disputes
Oliver is accustomed to dealing with matters involving both individuals and corporate entities. He brings a practical and commercially focused approach to dispute resolution.
