James Bazley

Profile

Before commencing pupillage, James spent two years in the legal team of a leading international communications firm where he focussed on negotiations and disputes across a broad range of contracts. Separately, James has advised a Guernsey-based trust company on requirements for compliance with new regulations, and has experience as a paralegal in commercial dispute resolution, employment and immigration, and tax law.

James was an active member of the Middle Temple Student Association’s Debating Society, where he was recognised for his ”thorough preparation” and “ability to articulate complex issues”.

James holds an LLB from the University of Exeter, where he was also the Managing Editor of the law review. He subsequently completed the Bar Course with ICCA in 2025.
