On Friday, 3 December 2021, the British Nigeria Law Forum (BNLF) hosted a seminar on the topic of the “Current Security Challenges in Nigeria and their Impacts on Voter Apathy”.
As the Vice-Chair of the BNLF, Ololade delivered the welcome address at the well-attended event, which was hosted at the Bolton White Hotel, Abuja, Nigeria. Attendees included members of the BNLF, politicians, Senior Advocates of Nigeria, a delegation from the Nigerian Bar Association, other members of the Nigerian legal profession, members of the international legal and business community, and the media.
The keynote speech was provided by Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, The Honourable Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola and was delivered by his Special Assistant, Mr Ademola Adeyinka.
The seminar was kindly sponsored by J-K Gadzama LLP, Omaplex Law firm, and FCMB Pensions, the pensions arm of one of Nigeria’s significant banks.
