Five Paper is delighted to announce that Ololade Saromi has been awarded an outgoing scholarship by the Pegasus Scholarship Trust to travel to Lagos, Nigeria from April 2020. The Trust, administered by Inner Temple, awards around twelve scholarships per year to barristers within their first five years of practice.
From April, Ololade will spend 11 weeks on secondment to Aluko & Oyebode, the largest full-service commercial law firm in Nigeria. The scholarship is a great opportunity for Ololade to gain exposure to Nigeria’s budding legal market at one of its premier firms. Ololade hopes to use the scholarship to build on his existing practice whilst also gaining invaluable experience of international commercial work.
