Laura’s article entitled ‘Disability Discrimination – Proportionality of Enforcing Possession Orders’ has been published in the Landlord and Tenant Review. The article explores the case of Paragon Asra Housing Ltd v Neville [2018] EWCA Civ 1712, in which the Court of Appeal considered whether a tenant’s disability discrimination defence under the Equality Act 2010 had to be considered afresh at the point of enforcement of a possession order, which had itself been made following a determination that it represented a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim.
