David Mold appeared in the Employment Appeal Tribunal in Shah v Home Office (PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE, JURISDICTIONAL: TIME POINTS) [2024] EAT 21. The Appellant had filed his appeal from the Employment Tribunal out of time.
The EAT determined that it was one of the unusual cases where it was appropriate to grant an extension of time notwithstanding the absence of a “good excuse” for the time limit having been missed.
David was instructed by Government Legal Department.
